How Connect works

Once it opens in November 2026, here's the flow:

Connect your bank

Link your accounts through Plaid, the same connection layer used by Venmo and Coinbase. Read-only access. Your credentials never touch Finsemble.

Pick your sheet

Point Connect at the Google Sheet you already use. It writes into that sheet. It does not create a new one and does not change your layout.

Data flows in

Transactions and balances update automatically from there. No CSV exports, no manual entry.

What Connect is not: Connect syncs transactions and balances only. It does not include a dashboard, budget, recurring payment detection, P&L, alerts, or investment tracking. Those are full Finsemble features, not part of Connect.

What does Finsemble Connect actually sync?
Bank transactions and balances, synced via Plaid directly into a Google Sheet you already own. Connect does not build a dashboard, budget, or any other tab. It adds a live data feed to the sheet and layout you already have.
How is Connect different from full Finsemble?
Full Finsemble creates and maintains a complete structured spreadsheet for you, including a dashboard, budget, recurring payment detection, and more. Connect assumes you already have a sheet you like and adds transactions and balances to it, nothing else.
Can I sign up for Connect now?
Not yet. Finsemble Connect is in beta, with a full release planned for November 2026. There is no signup or waitlist on this page yet.
What will Connect cost?
$4 per month or $40 per year, which works out to two months free on the annual plan. That mirrors the pricing on Finsemble's existing plans.
Does Connect replace full Finsemble?
No. If you want a complete pre-built system, dashboard, budget, recurring payments, and P&L, use full Finsemble. Connect is for people who already have a sheet they like and just want the bank data flowing into it automatically.
