Mint Alternative

The Google Sheets replacement for Mint — where your data stays yours.

Mint is gone. Finsemble brings everything you used Mint for — transaction aggregation, automatic categorisation, budget tracking, account balances — into a Google Sheet you own permanently. No app that can shut down and take your data with it.

Mint is gone. Your financial history went with it.

Your financial data in a Google Sheet you own permanently.

Finsemble syncs all your accounts into a structured Google Sheet in your Drive. Transactions, automatic categories, budget tracking, account balances, recurring payments — everything Mint had, but in a format that can never be taken away.

Mint stored your data on their servers. Finsemble writes to a Google Sheet in your Drive. Even if Finsemble shuts down tomorrow, your sheet and your data are yours permanently.

How Finsemble works

01
Connect your accounts

Link your banks securely via Plaid. All your accounts from all your banks appear in one place — the same aggregated view you had in Mint, but in a sheet you own.

02
Your sheet is built with your real data

Finsemble creates a Google Sheet in your Drive with your full transaction history, automatically categorised across 17 categories. Your budget tab is populated. Your balances are current.

03
It stays current automatically

Your sheet updates every day without any action from you. New transactions appear, categories are applied. You never need to export or import anything again.

Everything in your sheet, out of the box.

Frequently asked questions

Does Finsemble replace everything Mint did?
Finsemble covers Mint's core value: aggregated transactions from all accounts, automatic categorisation, budget tracking, and account balances. It does not have a credit score feature. The key difference is your data lives in your Google Drive, not on Finsemble's servers.
Can I import my Mint transaction history?
Finsemble syncs your bank accounts directly via Plaid, pulling your available transaction history (typically 12-24 months). If you exported your Mint CSV history, you can add those rows to your Finsemble sheet manually.
Is my data safe if Finsemble shuts down?
Yes. Your data is in a Google Sheet in your Drive. If Finsemble stopped operating tomorrow, your sheet stays exactly as it is. Every row, every formula, every tab. You own it permanently.
How is Finsemble different from Credit Karma, which absorbed Mint?
Credit Karma focuses on credit monitoring and financial product recommendations. Finsemble is a transaction aggregation and financial tracking tool. They solve different problems. If you want the budgeting and transaction view Mint provided, Finsemble is the closer replacement.
What does Finsemble cost?
Plans start at $4/month. There is also a free tier. All paid plans include an 11-day full Pro trial — no credit card required to start.
