Does my accountant need a Finsemble account to view the sheet?
No. Your Finsemble sheet is a standard Google Sheet. Share it via Google Drive and your accountant can view it with any Google account. No Finsemble account, no login, no setup.
Can my accountant edit the sheet?
You control sharing permissions. Give view-only access for read-only review, or editor access if you want your accountant to add notes or annotations. The choice is yours.
What categories does Finsemble use?
Finsemble uses 17 transaction categories aligned with common tax and accounting categories — Income, Housing, Transportation, Food, Utilities, Healthcare, Business Expenses, and more. You can rename or recategorise any transaction.
How often does the sheet update?
Lite and Starter plans sync once per day automatically. Pro syncs up to 3 times per day. You can also trigger a manual sync any time from the Finsemble app.
